Tousi.com is a site for learning how to think about investing, not only what to buy. As part of that, we welcome stories of investments you decided not to make.
What kind of stories we are looking for
- A property, stock or product you considered but passed on.
- “I noticed this, so I did not buy”: the warning signs and how you reached your decision.
- What you noticed on a visit, what the numbers showed, or what bothered you in an explanation.
We are not looking for “I bought and made money” or “I bought and lost” stories. Results can only be judged in hindsight. What matters to us is what informed the decision before buying.
What we ask of you
- Please do not include real names, company names, property names, addresses or other details that could identify a person or a company.
- We cannot publish anything that promotes or solicits for a specific product, company or service.
- Please write about what you experienced yourself. We cannot publish second-hand accounts or invented stories.
- When you give numbers, please include the assumptions you know, such as roughly when and at what price.
About publication
- We check the facts and wording of what you send. We may edit it to avoid identifying anyone.
- If we would like to publish it, we will email you first and ask you to confirm the text.
- You may use a nickname or stay anonymous. You can also ask not to have a name shown.
- We decide whether to publish. We may not be able to publish everything or reply to everyone.
- This is not investment advice and does not recommend any particular investment.
